BSides Manchester is back. After returning this year with a sold-out Preview Night, we're running our autumn community event , an evening built for the people who actually do the work. Ground Truth: how things really get built, broken, and fixed. This is a practitioner panel with engineers, testers, and security practitioners talking honestly about what actually happens when code meets reality, where systems really break, and what it takes to fix them. Then the conversation keeps going. We close with a live Capture The Flag, sponsored and run by Equixly, alongside food, drinks, and networking. Play as much or as little as you like, it's a hands-on layer to the evening, not a mandatory contest. Who it's for Software engineers, QA and testers, AppSec and DevSecOps, offensive security, cloud and platform engineers, and anyone who lives in the overlap between building and securing software. Early career and students very welcome. The details Free to attend Capped numbers, so grab a ticket to secure your place Panel starts promptly at 18:30 Doors from 18:00, event ends at 21:00 A note on tickets This event is free and capacity is limited. If you grab a ticket and then find you can't make it, please release it so someone on the waitlist can take your place. It genuinely helps us get the room right. Brought to you by the BSides Manchester community. CTF sponsored by Equixly.
