Sheridan Datathon 2026

Participate in Sheridan Datathon 2026 — a data science and analytics competition where innovation meets collaboration. Sheridan Datathon is a student-led community that unites post-secondary learners across Ontario to explore the world of data science and analytics. We provide a welcoming space where beginners and advanced students alike can learn through workshops, hands-on challenges, and collaborative projects. Beyond coding, our goal is to spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect students with peers who share a passion for innovation and problem-solving. The Sheridan Datathon is a weekend-long event where students from across Ontario tackle data-driven challenges, join beginner-friendly workshops, and showcase their ideas. The event kicks off on Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 AM and concludes on Sunday, November 8th at 3:00 PM , with a focused 24-hour hacking window in the middle. Teams are up to five people. Come alone and we help you find teammates before hacking starts. No prior experience needed; it is free to attend. Doors open at 9:00 AM for check-in and breakfast. The opening ceremony at 10:00 AM introduces the challenges you will be working on. The 24-hour window opens at 12:00 PM Saturday. Workshops run through the afternoon and evening, mentors are on hand, and meals are covered. Submissions close at noon. Teams demo to judges and peers from 12:30 PM, and the closing ceremony at 3:00 PM hands out the podium and category awards. Exact amounts drop with the sponsor lineup. The pool only grows from here. Sheridan Datathon is made possible by its sponsors. Want in? Put your brand in front of Ontario's data students for a full weekend.
