We are committed to bringing hundreds of students together for an intensive 36-hour hackathon where innovation comes to life. Whether you're a first-time coder or a seasoned developer come bond peers and industry professionals, and join us to push your creative and technical boundaries in this dynamic weekend of building and collaboration. Develop innovative solutions to improve patient care, streamline medical processes, or enhance health outcomes using technology. Projects can involve patient care, healthcare operations, wellness, or medical accessibility in honor of Emory's commitment to advancing human health. Create engaging experiences that entertain, inspire, and connect users through interactive technologies and creative digital media. Projects can explore gaming, music, virtual experiences, or other forms of entertainment to make them more accessible, immersive, and enjoyable. Build tools and systems that enhance digital safety, protect personal information, and strengthen trust in technology. Projects can focus on improving data privacy, detecting online threats, or helping users navigate digital spaces more securely and confidently. Open-ended track for beginners to work on any project they find interesting. No specific theme or requirements, just build something you want to make. Could be a web app, mobile app, game, or any other software project. Focus is on learning and experimenting. Yes, the event is free to attend. The Emory Hacks team will be providing food and swag for all hackers attending the event. The event is located at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School at 1300 Clifton Rd N E, Atlanta, GA 30322. You can park at the Fishburne Parking Deck, Oxford Road Parking Deck, and Gambrell Parking deck, which you can see on this campus parking site - https://transportation.emory.edu/visitor-parking This event is open to any students. It is beginner friendly, with workshops to help you learn during the event, and mentors available to help you as you work on your project. Attendees must be at least 13 years old due to child privacy laws. If under 18, you can attend, but will need to fill out a liability form from the university.
