Your next idea could start over coffee. ☕ Join a room full of athletes from different sports for coffee, conversation and the founder story behind Kickback. Former professional rugby player Alex Shaw started roasting coffee in a popcorn maker. What followed was a business built around his passion for coffee, the outdoors and bringing people together. GB BMX racer and Kickback ambassador Ross Cullen will host a live conversation with Alex, exploring the first leap, the messy bits and the ambition driving it all. We’re at Kickback for a reason: to hear an athlete’s story in the space he’s created, and see what it could spark for you. WHAT TO EXPECT - Time to mingle and meet athletes from different sports. - Alex’s founder story, in conversation with Ross. - Your chance to ask questions and swap ideas. - A complimentary coffee for every athlete, so you can taste Kickback’s blend while hearing the story behind it. Collective Sessions are a space to belong, get inspired and explore what you could create, build and own with Squad Goals. Already building something? Got an idea? Just curious? You’re welcome here. 📍 Kickback Coffee, Portland Street, Manchester, M1 3HU 📅 Wednesday 28 October 🕓 4–5:30pm Bring whatever’s brewing… even if it’s just curiosity.
