As one of the longest-running startup competitions in NYC, the Queens Tech + Innovation Challenge has fueled entrepreneurship in the borough – and across the entire city – for more than two decades. Hosted by the Queens Economic Development Corporation in collaboration with Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., and with leadership support from Resorts World New York City, this program has helped thousands of entrepreneurs bring their dreams to life through education, networking, one-on-one counseling... and both cash and in-kind prizes. Join organizers and fellow Queens innovators at The Local NY for a networking happy hour and kickoff for the 2027 Challenge, which promises to be our biggest one yet. We believe that innovation comes in all sizes. So, uniquely, this program is designed for both small businesses and high-growth tech startups.
